It is when we are completely still and present that we are alive." RED Welcome to Red Gem Bodyworks. My name is Red. I am a Certified Massage Therapist offering professional, therapeutic, relaxing and non-sexual bodywork. I received my training in Acupressure, Deep Tissue, and Swedish massage therapy at the Acupressure Institute in Berkeley, CA and the San Francisco School of Massage, where I have been a teaching assistant. I have also trained with Aaron Parnell, former massage therapist for the U.S. Olympic games; Art Riggs, in deep tissue therapy; and Daniel Fowler of Maui, HI, in Lomi Lomi massage. I continue to take bodywork classes as ongoing education and dedication to my work. I originally entered into this work in 1991 because the power of touch has personally healed as well as enriched my life. My passion and philosophy is to offer an environment for safe, non-judgmental, non-sexual bodywork to WOMEN of ALL sizes, sexualities, and gender identities. I am happy to work with men by referral. I am very dedicated to my work and love what I do. Every massage style is different. Therefore, it is important to find the right touch for you. My approach is intuitive with a gentle and compassionate presence. I specialize in working with women who have never had bodywork before and am open to discussing any questions and concerns that you might have.
